Men’s Wig Techniques: Men’s Wig Dressing & Application with Hair & MakeUp Designer Louise Coles
When: 26th May
Join Hair & MakeUp Designer Louise Coles for a focused, hands-on day exploring the art of men’s wig dressing and application for film and television.
About the Course:
The morning begins with an in-depth theory and demonstration session, where Louise will guide you through the foundations of natural wig dressing. You’ll explore how to observe and replicate real hair movement, from crowns and direction to texture and finish. Alongside tool selection, product use, and techniques for cutting wigs to enhance realism.
Following this, Louise will demonstrate a full wig application, including hair preparation, parting piece application, and professional taping and glue techniques.
Practical Session
In the afternoon, you’ll take part in a 2-hour supported practical session, giving you the opportunity to apply the techniques covered, with guidance from Louise throughout.
To ensure a high level of support, practical places are limited to 7 attendees.
